Wake up!

Surrounded by many people
With a smile up on my face
I am laughing and interacting
But feeling lonely in this place

Without You its very noisy
Without Your love everything is crass
Hopelessness eats at living
Time is eaten up and gone so fast

Wake up seems to be my theme
The alarm is sounding in my soul
To be a bride without a lantern
Somethings I have to let go

There is urgency in my spirit
A calling from the Holy One
To be renewed and moldable
And quit fighting and trying to run

It is hard to believe I am back in Portland... Hmmm... I just need to continue to trust the Lord in my journey. I have not even been here six months and already it has been an up and down experience.. Wow!
